I don't know why politicians don't understand that the only way to hire is to have a large enough margin (income - overhead = margin). I'll be glad to show a sign of this simple equation in case they forget..
Prosperity for business, means higher employment, means higher revenue for the State. Errrr.. got that?
You increase the overhead, it either raises prices for a poorer contracting customer base or you can't hire. This raises the price for everyone. Now it's 26% higher retail prices due soley to taxes. A gallon of gas could cost 60 cents less per gallon.. for 20 gallons that's 12 dollars. For a trucker that delivers products, that is a large difference and that too is rolled into the price of goods at the point of sale. They are already taxing businesses and the individual into the ground. How is that stimulating anything economically.

Price cannot go ever higher, contrary to the Politicians wishful thinking.
There for overhead must be decreased. Taxes are overhead. What does that tell them?
Can I say that in testimony? I own a simple mobile hot dog cart and jumping castle. Does my voice count? I can't even hire employees the way things are now with liability costs, employer matching funds, income taxes, compliance costs (H&R Block). I can only guess how a larger company will do it. Lobby like hell and get blamed by Progressives for it, or layoff people and get blamed for that too.

God Bless,
